Transmission organs
These elements constitute the core of any mechanical system. Together, we will find the most suitable options for you.
Belt drives
Belt drive transmission is used to transmit motion between two shafts that are far from each other. Transmission is possible only if the adhesion between the pulley and the belt is adequate to prevent slippage. The friction of the belt on the pulley periphery is at the origin of motion transmission. In addition to the trapezoidal and timing belts available on the market, many different belts and pulleys are ready to meet all customer needs.
Module gears and racks
Module gears are particularly fit for motion transmission between two rolling elements. They can be straight-cut, helical or conical and they can also be the result of a machining by drawing. Gears enable the transmission of both rotational motion and transverse motion, if using racks. They are the simplest, cheapest and most effective motion transmission system and are widely used in the power transmission field.
Trapezoidal screws
Trapezoidal screws transform rotational motion into linear motion. They are mainly used for the creation of linear actuators, as well as for handling systems and lifting tables and to control the stroke of mechanical jacks. They are used whenever sturdiness, resistance to impacts caused by strong and sudden stresses and resistance to corrosion and wear are required. They are often combined with bronze nuts, and this configuration allows for highly efficient, smooth and low-noise translations.
Locking devices
The locking system based on keyless locking devices connects to the shaft one or more organs that make motion transmission or the withstanding of a radial thrust possible. Frictional coupling eliminates play by giving greater rotation precision to the keyed part without needing tight diametral tolerances. Tapers create a pressure between the shaft and the hub, and this allows for a secure fixing of pulleys, gears, chain wheels, drums, flywheels and much more. Easy assembly and disassembly operations ensure the user can optimize the assembly itself and, consequently, reduce its cost.
Transmission couplings
Also simply known as couplings, transmission couplings are aimed at connecting two coaxial shafts. In addition to the precise transfer of torque, their main task is to compensate misalignment between motor side and operator side. Numerous versions, designed for the most diverse industrial applications, exist on the market.
