Four generations ago, we started supplying rolling bearings and industrial components for motion transmission.

GTC’s story begins shortly after WWII, in a basement in the historical center of Milan, when the engineer Leonardo Curri begins to market industrial spare parts. Over the years, the business grows and Leonardo’s son, Gianlorenzo, joins the company. In the early seventies, Gianlorenzo decides to move the company headquarters to Bresso and, more specifically, to a bigger warehouse, more suited to new company needs.

The constant increase in turnover asks for new headquarters, located, this time, in Cormano. In the late eighties, the team expands with the arrival of Achille Meazza, a young college student driven by a deep enthusiasm and passion for mechanics. In the mid-nineties, Gianlorenzo is forced to leave the company because of medical reasons, and passes the baton to Achille.

During the summer of 2003, the untimely death of Gianlorenzo motivates his son, Mattia, who had just started working as sales executive, to take over his father’s activity. GTC 2004 is the beginning of the fourth company generation, strongly tied to its past and, at the same time, ready for the challenges of the new millennium.
